As a foster and adoptive parent since 2010, my wife and I saw one of the worst cases our social workers and community could imagine. We didn’t have it easy, but we just thought every case was like this. Your story probably won’t be as hard as ours, but it will encourage you to find the way you can help at least one child to find home.

Live Forum Discussion and Personalized FAQ: How to be the best New Foster Parent or Adopting Parent
- Get a specific, yet flexible, vision for how you can help: You may not choose to become a foster parent, but there are other equally valuable ways to make an impact on children and give them support and the stability they need.
- Learn how to get value from the foster parent certification process: These classes are usually boring and over-stuffed with content. You don’t know what you will need until you need it, but I can help you get the most from your training.
- Questions and answers and personal access to followup help: You are not alone in this, but it can be scary sometimes to know who to ask for help, who is on your side, and how to get help or push back when something doesn’t seem right. I’m a resource for you, but can also connect you with other sources of support.
