Workshop Details

Everyone in this program will walk away with a new short “bio” that you can use on LinkedIn and in your cover letters for jobs. But writing that bio takes rethinking who you are! And so the coaching focuses on helping you tell a new story about your identity and your profile, drawing from your academic background but not limited by it. Over the course of 3 live workshops, plus readings and the short writing project, you’ll leave the coaching program with

  1. An understanding of the emotional obstacles holding you back
  2. A new professional story about yourself independent from academia
  3. A short biography that showcases your identity that you can use in your job search
  4. A community of fellow travelers

The journey is best shared! the worst part of leaving academia is the isolation (and the shame and feelings of failure isolation breeds). Working together we can share insights and resources and you will come away not just with assets for your job search, but the peace of mind of knowing you are not alone.

Dates for live coaching sessions are: June 14, June 28, and July 12, all at 6 PM EST. If you can’t make a time, i will make sure you get the recording!

This workshop has our standard refund policy.
