Workshop Details
Practicing is the one commonality that all musicians of all levels share. Whether you are an active performing professional, a teacher seeking to inspire students, or an amateur enthusiast, the process of growing and improving our skills is a lifelong pursuit. Unfortunately, most musicians find themselves frustrated with their progress, not due to a lack of talent or a willingness to work, but because of a lack of understanding as to where true results come from.
This course, Practice 101, seeks to change all of that, but throwing conventional wisdom to the wind and providing simple, repeatable, and common sense systems that will allow you to continue growing and thriving, no matter your performance goals. If you are worried that you were trained or indoctrinated into a system of learning like Kodaly, Suzuki, or O’Connor, don’t worry; this system does not interfere with any of that. Instead, I choose to focus on creating the infrastructure of effective and efficient practicing, for that is universal.
Included in the price of admission for this session is the option to receive a 1-on-1 practice coaching at no additional cost. You also have the option to receive a copy of Practice 101: Work Smarter, Not Harder upon request (limit of one copy per participant).
This workshop has our standard refund policy.

This workshop would be beneficial to anyone trying to improve their music practice routine. The instructor guided us through a daily - weekly routine of practicing to optimize time and achieve the most productivity. He encouraged questions and discussions but also stayed on task, leaving the students with guidelines to have a structured, achievable practice routine.
It was well worth the time spent in this workshop.
