Are you the parent of a musician struggling with practice room efficiency?  Is your child spending hours upon hours in the practice room with no results to show for their efforts?  Are they just unfocused, and you aren’t sure how to help them progress?  This workshop is for you.  In Practice 101, we will cover all the ins and outs of successful practice, including:

  • Setting realistic goals
  • When and Where it is ideal to practice
  • Problem-solving tips and tricks
  • Advice on both addressing practicing issues with your child’s instructor AND empowering you to better support and help the aspiring musicians in your family.

Participants will also have the ability to request a review of an existing practice plan, to have a new one written for them, or ask questions.  Support continues beyond the end of this workshop, making this class a fantastic value.

This workshop would be beneficial to anyone trying to improve their music practice routine. The instructor guided us through a daily - weekly routine of practicing to optimize time and achieve the most productivity. He encouraged questions and discussions but also stayed on task, leaving the students with guidelines to have a structured, achievable practice routine.
It was well worth the time spent in this workshop.
