The new DSM-5-TR releast this year ushered in a new diagnosis that is already controversial. Prolonged Grief Disorder is grabbing the attention of clinicians as the first ever official grief diagnosis. Some key questions to consider:

  • What is the criteria for this diagnosis?
  • What are the pros and cons?
  • How can clinicians better understand the complexity of this diagnosis and more effectively help clients who might be strugging with prolonged grief?

In this workshop, learners will:

  • Articulate diagnostic criteria for Prolonged Grief Disorder (PGD) and analyze pros and cons of the diagnosis.
  • Conceptualize an understanding of clients with PGD and formulate goals and interventions.
  • Create and utilize diverse treatment interventions to assist clients in the resolution of PGD.

This workshop has our standard refund policy.

Schedule

  • December 16, 2022 10:00am – 12:00pm EST
