The purpose of this workshop is to provide or enhance teaching tools and skills necessary for meeting the needs of English Language Learners (ELLs) across content areas. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
1. recognize and apply relevant second language acquisition theories
2. utilize numerous pedagogical approaches suitable for ELLs

Cyndriel is an accomplished educator with expertise in in-person and online instruction, curriculum design, and training & development in the contexts of higher education, K-12, and nonprofit work. She served as the ESL Writing Coordinator at Northern Arizona University from 2011-2020 and as an ESL Specialist and curriculum developer for the Academic Services Unit of Harlem Children's Zone from 2020 to 2021.
