Workshop Details

Whether you just love flowers or are a budding florist, this class is a great introduction to Floral Design 101. We’ll take an average store bought bouquet and show you how to add your own artistic flair. You will learn how to create a thoughtful, artistic bouquet with foundational skills and mechanics used by professionals. We will cover how to choose the freshest blooms, care and handling, and techniques to creating a modern, organic design using elements you have at home. This class is fun, informative, and best of all you get to enjoy your creation or share it with someone special.

Materials Needed:

1 grocery store bouquet- pick something fresh with a beautiful color scheme

1 pair of clippers- no scissors!  Garden clippers are best

Your favorite vessel or vase – choose something that will hold the volume of flowers you chose

*Feel free to bring some extra clippings from your yard or garden.  Herbs, greens and foraged garden material help to make your design artistic and personalized.
